Hyderabad: Following the passage of Citizenship Amendment Bill – 2019 in Parliament, IUML (Indian Union Muslim League) is gearing up to challenge it in the Supreme Court and is weighing legal options.

Speaking to The Hans India, Abdul Gani, general secretary, IUML-Telangana, said that on December 9, IUML MP's delegation led by its national general secretary, P K Kunhalikutty, MP, met senior Supreme Court advocate and veteran Congress leader Kapil Sibal and discussed legalities to challenge the bill in the apex court. Gani requested to all democratic believers to stand united against NRC (National Register of Citizen's) & CAB-2019 and appealed support in the legal struggle against the 'anti human, anti minority, anti democratic and anti rationalist bill'.
