Inter-state ganja smuggling gang busted in Hyderabad

The LB Nagar Special Operations Team (SOT) busted an inter-state gang smuggling ganja on Wednesday and seized 108 kg of contraband from them. The smugglers were taken into custody.
The LB Nagar Special Operations Team (SOT) busted an inter-state gang smuggling ganja on Wednesday and seized 108 kg of contraband from them. The smugglers were taken into custody.
On a receipt of information, the SOT police caught the smugglers while transporting it to other states. The arrested were yet to be identified.
On November 2, 2019 - the police arrested two members for allegedly selling ganja and seized 320 kg of processed ganja worth Rs 32 lakhs from them. The arrested were identified as Shaik Sohail and Mohammad Saddam.
The police found the ganja on Warangal-Karimnagar highway in a car packed in four of 2 kg packets. An investigation is underway.
