Basheerbagh: The Telangana Private Employees Association on Tuesday urged chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to come down a step and persuade the RTC employees to end their strike.

While expressing the association's total support to the strike, founder-president Sama Venkat Reddy told a meeting in the press club here, to decide the future course of action and see that no RTC employee commits suicide.

He appealed to political parties not to exploit the strike for their selfish ends. Reddy appealed to K Chandrasekhar Rao not to be adamant and find a way for solving the RTC employees' demands keeping in view the needs of the people.

he welcomed KCR's call to those who had gone to the Gulf in search of employment to return to the State. But the CM should also ensure 75 per cent reservations in jobs for local people.
