Madhapur: All India Crafts Mela begins
Shiparamam’s 25th All India Crafts Mela ‘Jamboree’ has commenced from December 15 and will be held till January 17.
Madhapur: Shiparamam's 25th All India Crafts Mela 'Jamboree' has commenced from December 15 and will be held till January 17.
More than 400 artisans from all over the country are participating in this mela, showcasing various handlooms and handicrafts, such as, handlooms stalls, jute products, jewellery, wood carving, hand block printing, hand embroidery, shawls, carpets, terracotta, blue pottery and stone carving by the artists of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Assam and Orissa.
In addition, there are several varieties of colorful folk art forms daily from 5.30 pm which is sponsored by SCZCC Nagpur and NZCC Patiala and Classical cultural programmes representing different states.
