Malkajgiri: The Sixth Additional Magistrate's Court located in the Malkajgiri Court Complex has been transferred to the Kukatpally Court, in accordance with the decision of the Telangana High Court. Opposing the decision, the members of the Malkajgiri Bar Association on Monday boycotted work and staged a dharna before the complex.
They demanded 'justice.' Addressing the protestors, association president Yadagiri Rao alleged that the transfer was done without any intimation to the organisation and lawyers.
He said thousands of cases were pending in the court causing hardships to both advocates and litigants. Already the issue has been taken to the notice of the 16th Additional Court judge, along with the need for posting of a family court judge.
