MBT fumes over drone coverage of Asaduddin
In a complaint to Telangana State DGP, Hyderabad City Police and to Inspector of Moghalpura Police Station, MBT spokesman Amjedullah Khan questioned the use of drone camera for shooting an election campaign of Asaduddin Owaisi, the incumbent MP, by a national channel in Moghalpura.
Chanchalguda: In a complaint to Telangana State DGP, Hyderabad City Police and to Inspector of Moghalpura Police Station, MBT spokesman Amjedullah Khan questioned the use of drone camera for shooting an election campaign of Asaduddin Owaisi, the incumbent MP, by a national channel in Moghalpura. Referring to the use of drone on Wednesday by the Hindi channel, he questioned the silence of police personnel present on the occasion.
"Use of drones and UAVs is banned in Hyderabad since September 2015 and it has been in news that Police have been booking cases and arresting persons for use of drone cameras. But our Hyderabad city police as usual is somewhere afraid of political leaders. Moghalpura Inspector of Police was physically present during the shooting and use of drone camera but even after passing 24 hours no action has been taken against the media team," he said.
