Jubilee Hills: Dr MCR HRD Institute organised an impressive function to mark the 85th birth anniversary of Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar, a leading ideologue of Telangana movement, on Tuesday. Officers, faculty, staff, and trainees paid their homage while remembering his contribution to the Telangana movement.
BP Acharya, DG of the institute, said that the real and true tribute to his noble soul would be to continue the developmental campaign, with much higher commitment and dedication, to fully realise the dream of golden Telangana.
He stated that the birth anniversary celebration of Prof Jayashankar was the right occasion to rededicate the institute to the cause of diversifying and enriching core competencies of the employees of government in order to equip them fully to achieve the three-dimensional vision of 'Bangaru Telangana,' that is, accelerating economic growth, improving infrastructural facilities, and targeting social welfare and inclusive growth.
"His dream of a separate Telangana has been achieved. Now, let us draw inspiration from his life and work towards making it a Model State as per his ideals and dreams," opined all those who were present on the occasion unanimously.
