‘Amrithaharam’ programme was organised at Pragati Resorts in Shankarpalli to propagate the value of natural food and millets.

Chevella: 'Amrithaharam' programme was organised at Pragati Resorts in Shankarpalli to propagate the value of natural food and millets. The programme was intended to create awareness on gaining health through green food. The plants and oil stalls were featured as part of the event.

The event was attended by Deputy Director General of NIRD (National Institute of Rural Development) Radhika Rastogi, OSD Himani Sharma, Professor P Sivaram, faculty member Solanki and 60 trainees of NIRD from 10 states.

Chairman of the Pragati Resorts GBK Rao said that every droplet of water should be saved and used to provide enough water for the next generations. He also said that the responsibility of preserving the eminence of the 'Amrithaharam' should be taken up by all on their shoulders for a better future.

Radhika Rastogi said the students of NIRD visited the place to know about the importance of natural food. She expressed happiness over the way the programme was organised.
