MB Krishna, 62, owner of Ramatulsi Bakery in Gandhi Nagar, said, "I have been trying to get a loo cafe for my bakery from the past 3 months. The GHMC officials asked me to fill a number of forms for Loo Café, but did not provide me one. They also made me to go to various offices for the same."
"I have been visiting these Loo Cafes across the city, including the ones on Necklace Road, Kukatpally, Abids, Hi-Tec City and In-orbit mall. The one thing that I have noticed in these cafés across the city is that the Loo Cafe on Necklace road is more hygienic and well-maintained compared to the other cafes in the city," Krishna added. Madhavi J, 33, working in a nearby IT company, said, "For working women, these washrooms are both convenient and safe.
Once we are out of office, we either end up using washrooms that are not clean or not use washrooms at all. There are times when our office washrooms are also cleaned. This Loo Cafe is hygienic and clean. Since Loo Café is attached with a cafeteria and ATM, it has been more convenient for us."
Subhash R, 45, a fitness trainer, said, "These washrooms are cleaner than the public toilets. It became easier for us to withdraw cash, as there are ATM's attached to it. The best thing about these washrooms is that you don't have to pay even a single penny to use the washroom and also the food in the cafeteria is below Rs 30. This café is nearer to my fitness studio and is well maintained."
