New CEO takes charge at Wakf Board
The newly-appointed Wakf Board CEO Abdul Hameed on Wednesday took charge amidst the presence Chairman of TS Wakf Board Md Saleem and all the department officials.

The Revenue Division Officer of Zaheerabad, Abdul Hameed, was transferred to Minorities Welfare Department on deputation for two years.
Meanwhile, the Wakf activists who protested against his appointment said that they would holding a press conference shortly over the "maladministration" of over two decades and the re-appointment of the person who is already facing allegations.
"The official who earlier also worked as CEO at Wakf Board under combined Andhra Pradesh faced allegations in relation of the Wakf property of Dargah Hazrath Nadeemullah Hussaini, situated at Kishan Bagh in Hyderabad.
He also had issued an errata notification in respect to gazette-notified wakf property, notified in 1984 relating to Jamia mosque in Malakpet. We shall be holding a press conference shortly, so that the Muslim community are informed about what this appointment would mean to Wakf Board and its properties and their future," Association of Save Wakf Properties Syed Ifteqar Hussaini said.
