Hyderabad: There has been an overwhelming response to the special drive for collection of scrap from households in the city. Denizens of the capital are coming forward to hand over scrap wastes to GHMC staffers, instead of dumping in nalas and open areas.
GHMC staff is collecting unused goods such as furniture, electronic items, mattresses, coolers and others wastes in the 10-day drive which will be conducted up to November 12. Nearly 42.336 metric tons scrap was collected in two days by GHMC staff.
