Patancheru: Justice for Disha demanded

Patancheru: School students and women, with support extended by teachers, representatives of voluntary organisations and trade unions, took out a 'Justice for Disha' rally in IDA Bollaram on Wednesday.

They raised slogans like 'we want justice', 'public hanging of offenders' involved in the gangrape-murder of veterinary doctor. They demanded introduction of amendments to laws ensuring protection to women, besides steps so as to ensure that none dares to commit such offence in future. Among those who took part in the rally were political leader Chandra Reddy and trade union leader Varaprasad Reddy.
