Police spell measures for pandal organisers
The R C Puram police on Sunday conducted a meeting with organisers of the Ganesh festival celebrations. About 200 members of the organising committees attended.
Ramachandrapuram: The R C Puram police on Sunday conducted a meeting with organisers of the Ganesh festival celebrations. About 200 members of the organising committees attended.
Ramesh, CI, explained the mandatory rules to be followed by the committees and requested them to give details of the celebrations after visiting the Cyberabad police website and register their pandals online. He said they need to attach documents like permission of the premises, electricity supply.
A QR code form will appear after filling the applicationswhich should be submitted in the police station to be verified by the police. The CI stated that the participants must not use DJs during the festival days.
The sound of speaker boxes should not exceed 60 decibels. The police wouldconduct a random check to confirm the decibel level and sound capacity. The organisers must take permission for using mike and holding cultural programmes, Ramesh added.
