Ramachandrapuram: Demand to hang rapist-murderers
The BJP and the Congress leaders Srikanth, Nanda Reddy and Shankar on Thursday organised a rally and human chain by students of Vidya Bharathi school in Bharatinagar LIG of GHMC division 111 in support of the demand for giving stringent punishment in the rape-murder of Disha and Manasa (of Warangal).
Ramachandrapuram: The BJP and the Congress leaders Srikanth, Nanda Reddy and Shankar on Thursday organised a rally and human chain by students of Vidya Bharathi school in Bharatinagar LIG of GHMC division 111 in support of the demand for giving stringent punishment in the rape-murder of Disha and Manasa (of Warangal).
The students raised slogans like 'hang the killers', so that such incidents don't recur. They wanted the killers to be immediately hanged or eliminated in an encounter, or other stringent measures taken by the government. The students warned that if strong action was not taken against the accused there was a danger of people revolting.
Among the BJP leaders present during the rally were Nanda Reddy, Srikanth, Shankaran, Sharma Balram, Ramprasad, Satyanarayana, Gopal Reddy, Bhupal Reddy, Congress leaders Shankar, Habeeb Jani, Rasool, Miraj, Anupu Vamsi.
