Residents fume over defunct streetlights
The locals and commuters of Amberpet, near Masjid E Zam Zam, are frustrated over the malfunctioning of the street lights. It has been weeks since the street lights stopped working here.

Aslam, a commuter, said that they are facing problems to pass by from this stretch during nights. The locals over here have complained many times to the authorities concerned to fix the streetlights in this area, but in vain. Due to darkness, traffic snarls are often witnessed on the road.
Ravi, a local, said that the street lights here have not been working for several weeks. Despite several verbal complaints and by messages through social media and representation went from the local residents of this area to official concerned, no concrete step has been taken till date, he said.
