Seminar on safety of construction workers held
Several experts stressed on the need for taking safety measures by the workers using head helmets, shoes, gloves for hands and making sure not to be careless when building high walls.
Hyderabad: Several experts stressed on the need for taking safety measures by the workers using head helmets, shoes, gloves for hands and making sure not to be careless when building high walls.
An awareness seminar for construction workers was conducted by for masons and other workers by Patel Steels and Cement Agency director Allauddin Patel in Kondapur on Tuesday. A large number of masons and construction workers from the twin cities took part in the seminar. The event was attended by Suguna Metals Sales and Marketing vice-president Nitin Jain.
Alauddin Patel said that in the recent times, there have been many accidents in construction places and workers are advised to take proper precautions. "Workers should use head helmets, shoes, gloves for hands, and be sure not to be careless when building high walls."
Nitin Jain talked about the need to have best quality steel which is used in all Kind of construction activities. "We are producing the XXX turbo TMT 550 grade Steel with a capacity of 15 thousand tonnes per month. We supply to entire Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Our Steel is being supplied to our state government's most ambitious double-bed room house projects. Tata, Nagarjuna, Palomi, J S W and others are the major construction Companies which uses the Sugna TMT in their projects, said Nitin Jain.
