Stray menace grips several localities

A bunch of dogs in many areas of Karkhana and Mudfort are causing trouble to the people, especially at night. There have been many complaints from the commuters about the stray dogs, attacking them while they pass through particular streets. Apparently, locals have stopped using those routes to travel after evening due to the menace caused by the stray dogs.
"A couple of months ago, my maid's son was attacked by a dog. He had to be rushed to the hospital for injections. After a serious complaint, the dogs were caught by the dog catchers, but now again the problem has resurfaced." says Bharathi Ramesh, local.
The residents of P&T Colony say they are having a rough time battling against thze canines during the evening, as there are no street lights in a couple of streets at a stretch. "It is a dreadful task to walk past these streets in the dark.
There are dogs that come up from anywhere and try to attack, whether you are walking, on two-wheeler or even in a four-wheeler," said Piyush, a resident of P&T Colony. Many dogs were caught earlier but somehow more dogs now road every street and are causing a lot of trouble to the people. They bark at night continuously and cause too much inconvenience, say locals from Vikrampuri Colony.
