TB Control Programme staff seek regularisation
The contract employees who are working in TB Control Programme demanded that the state government regularise their services and address their issues. The employees association met here at SundaraiahVignanaKendram on Tuesday.
Baghlingampally: The contract employees who are working in TB Control Programme demanded that the state government regularise their services and address their issues. The employees association met here at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram on Tuesday.
Association leader Venkateshwar Reddy, speaking to media, said that the salaries of all the employees working in national health mission except for those in TB control programme were increased.
Pay revision was not implemented to the employees working in TB Control Programme, he said. Though pay revision was done to a few lab technicians, they too did not get the appropriate hikes according to their seniority, he said. Venkateshwar Reddy demanded the state government to merge their department with General category.
The association president Kishan Reddy, working president Venkatapathi, general secretary Chandrashekhar, associate president Naresh Kumar and others attended the meeting.
