He planted saplings, and laid stress on the slogan 'Vruksho Rakshathi Rakshitaha' (trees will save us if protected). Goud stated that not only plantation of saplings was important, but also ensuring their survival. Among those who participated in the programme were area committee member Shoukath Ali, TRS leaders Mazar, Nageswara Rao, Samulu, Yadagiri, Chinna, Intiaz, Rahim, Narsimha, Prakash, Eshwar, Santosh, Srinivas Yadav and Srinivas Rao.
