RTC X Roads: RTC Employees' Thrift and Credit Cooperative Society staff in support of the striking TSRTC workers took up 'Vanta Varpu' at their office near the Bus Bhavan on Friday. The CCS general secretary TA Murali Mohan said they supported the strike call and extend their unconditional cooperation to the bandh on Saturday.

The RTC management has to pay Rs 540 crore to the CCS as they were not depositing the money collected from the staff. Since January 2019, the employees were unable to utilise their own money. They are not getting the loans because there is no money, said Murali Mohan.
