In view of Ganesh nimajjanam, the Greater Hyderabad Zone/ TSRTC has made elaborate arrangements for the operation of 550 special buses from various depots in the city for the convenience of the devotees participating in the processions.

Hyderabad: In view of Ganesh nimajjanam, the Greater Hyderabad Zone/ TSRTC has made elaborate arrangements for the operation of 550 special buses from various depots in the city for the convenience of the devotees participating in the processions.

Officials will be posted at all strategic points to monitor special operations and also to regulate the operation as per the movement of processions on various routes.

The RTC has deployed 106 drivers, 73 mechanics, and 50 security personnel for the smooth operation of buses across the city. Officers are also nominated at different police control rooms to assist in the smooth clearance of traffic on Thursday.

Nine officers would be deployed across all zones for the final day immersion from 8:00 am on Thursday till the immersion is over on Friday to coordinate with Police Officers on bus operations at the Joint Control Rooms which are proposed to be established at NTR Marg, Gandhi Marg outpost at Tank Bund and Main Control Room, Basheerbagh.

Six relief vans would be deployed to attend repairs of RTC buses and breakdowns to ensure a free flow of traffic and immersion of Ganesh idols. The Zonal Enforcement Squads/ GHZ will monitor the main procession from Kandikal gate to Tank Bund along with a squad jeep till the last Ganesh Immersion procession.
