Woman found murdered
A woman, aged about 45, was allegedly found murdered on the outskirts of Lakdaram near Ningasanikunta, under Patancheru police station limits, on Saturday. CI Naresh, along with DSP Rajeswara Rao, visited the spot. The deceased was identified as Besta Anjamma of Sancharla village in Vikarabad district.
Patancheru: A woman, aged about 45, was allegedly found murdered on the outskirts of Lakdaram near Ningasanikunta, under Patancheru police station limits, on Saturday. CI Naresh, along with DSP Rajeswara Rao, visited the spot. The deceased was identified as Besta Anjamma of Sancharla village in Vikarabad district.
Preliminary enquiries revealed that the victim was killed elsewhere, and the body was dumped at the spot. The body was shifted to the government hospital here for post-mortem. Naresh said a case has been registered and investigation taken up.
Meanwhile, the relatives of deceased alleged that the Narsingi and Chevella police did not respond promptly to complaints of the woman missing case. If they had acted promptly the murder could have been averted, they said.
