Tirupati: Foolproof arrangements will be in place for the visit of President Ramnath Kovind to Tirumala on November 24. He will be coming to the pilgrim city to worship Lord Venkateswara.

Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will also reach Tirupati on that day to welcome the President. In view of the visit of the first citizen of the nation, District Collector Dr N Bharat Gupta held a review meeting in Tirupati on Tuesday to review the arrangements. He said that everyone should take care of their duties seriously so that not a single mistake should occur in arrangements.

Security arrangements should be foolproof in airport duly following Covid protocols.

The President and his entourage will also worship Goddess Padmavathi at Tiruchanoor and depart to New Delhi on the same day. The Collector has reviewed the VIP passes, convoy vehicles arrangemets and other things. Municipal Corporation Commissioner P S Girisha, Urban SP A Ramesh Reddy, Joint Collector (Welfare) Rajasekhar, RDO V Kanaka Narasa Reddy, Airport Director S Suresh and other officials were present at the review meeting.
