Grandparents Day celebrated
Grandparents are very important in one’s life. Keeping this in view, the pre-primary wing of Delhi Public School (DPS), Vijayawada, celebrated Grandparents Day on the school premises on Thursday.

Keeping this in view, the pre-primary wing of Delhi Public School (DPS), Vijayawada, celebrated Grandparents Day on the school premises on Thursday. The programme started with a prayer song by UKG students followed by a welcome song by the students of LKG.
K Praveen, director in his address to the grandparents emphasised the importance of spending valuable time with their children. Many fun filled games were conducted.
G Mala, principal, congratulated all the grandparents and awarded prizes to the winners. It was a real feast to the eyes to see the grandparents and grandchildren playing together enthusiastically. The principal exhorted the children to respect and take care of their grandparents.
P Narendra Babu, Pro-Vice Chairman congratulated the students and parents on their active participation. Director P Pavan Chand, parents and teachers were present.
