Former TDP minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu has stated that victory and defeat are common in politics and appealed to party workers not to feel disenchanted about the outcome of the recent elections.
Visakhapatnam: Former TDP minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu has stated that victory and defeat are common in politics and appealed to party workers not to feel disenchanted about the outcome of the recent elections.
Addressing a media conference here on Friday, he said that the party would stand by people during the time of crisis and asked the workers to be prepared for local body elections with renewed vigour. He asserted the party workers should leave no stone unturned in ensuring the GVMC and all the panchayats come into TDP's fold in the civic body elections.
He also announced that the TDP would continue to stand by the people and emphasised the need of newly-formed government to deliver on its promises promptly. Among others, the conference was attended by TDP Visakhapatnam unit president S A Rehman.
