Going into details, Amaresh Nayak of Sundarpada was burning crackers along with his friends in front of his house. While he was firing the crackers, a gang of youngsters prevented him.

In this context, a heated argument broke out, which led to a conflict between them. The group attacked Amaresh with sharp weapons, where he collapsed on the spot. The friends who were at the scene rushed Amaresh to a nearby hospital. The doctors who examined him declared brought dead. In a separate incident that happened on the festival day, two lost their lives and three sustained injuries. Officials said.
