DMK leader Dayanidhi made a few interesting observations in the Lok Sabha during the session on Monday. Addressing the members of the house, Dayanidhi Maran hit out at the BJP led government at the centre accusing them of being partial towards big stars in the industry.

Two days after fans of Kollywood actor Vijay alleged that the IT raid at his house was politically motivated. Much to the delight of Vijay's fans came immense support for the actor from unexpected quarters.

When the House was in session, Dayanidhi Maran took a dig at the Union budget saying that the finance minister had done little to ease the tax burden of the common man. He said the common man had to shell out a fortune to understand how to save taxes after the Union finance minister presented her second budget.

Later, moving on to movies he said that big fish like Superstar Rajinikanth was left to go Scot free even though the profits from his movies ran into crores of rupees but artistes like Vijay were being targeted.

"Vijay was picked up from his shooting location in Thirunalveli and the entire shooting schedule was cancelled causing loss to the filmmakers," said Dayanidhi Maran addressing the Lok Sabha amid loud uproar.

On one hand, Vijay fans were thrilled over the support earned by their movie idol. On the other hand, this development has given rise to speculations of Vijay's political entry. It is a known fact that Vijay is keen on taking the political plunge. All his recent movies have been a dig at the Modi govt and his schemes. Now, with him drawing support from Maran political circles are abuzz with talks that Vijay could make his political debut with DMK.
