PM Modi discusses these issues, including agricultural laws, with MP farmers
Demonstration of farmers on the Delhi border continues with regard to three new agricultural laws brought by the central government.
New Delhi: Demonstration of farmers on the Delhi border continues with regard to three new agricultural laws brought by the central government. Opposition parties have also supported the performance of farmers. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the farmers of Madhya Pradesh and explained the benefits of the new agricultural laws and tried to clear the confusion of the farmers.
Highlights of PM Modi's address ...
-Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, there can be no delay in providing facilities to the Indian farmers in the developed countries of the world. Efforts are being made to remove backwardness from the agricultural sector in India, modern systems of storage are being made in this link.
-PM Modi said, the opposition kept pressing Swaminathan Committee recommendations for eight years. Our government implemented the recommendations of the committee and gave MSP of one and a half times the cost to the farmers.
-In his address, PM Modi said, I request all political parties to join hands and please keep all the credit with you. I am giving credit to all your old election manifestos. I want ease in the lives of farmers. I want their progress and modernity in agriculture. Please don't trick the farmers and leave them confused.
-Prime Minister Modi said games are being played in the country to plow their political land by suddenly spreading a web of confusion and lies. The farmers are being stabbed with guns on their shoulders. The government is asking which clauses of law you have difficulty in, then those political parties have no concrete answer.
-In his address PM Modi said, the debt waiver by Congress governments is the biggest example of cheating farmers in our country. In Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, loan waiver was promised within 10 days, but how many farmers' debt was waived? Nobody knows this.
-Prime Minister Narendra Modi said I say with confidence that there is no reason for mistrust in the recent agricultural reforms we have done. There is no room for lies in this.
-PM Modi said I assure every farmer of the country that like MSP was given earlier, it will continue to be given, the MSP will not be closed, nor will it end. Even after enactment of the law, the MSP was announced as it was before.
-Prime Minister Modi said the previous government had bought about four lakh three million metric tons of oilseeds in its five years. Our government has purchased over 56 lakh tonnes of MSP in its five years. This is proof of how much attention our government gives to increasing MSP from time to time. Along with increasing the MSP, the emphasis of the government has also been that more and more food grains should be purchased at the MSP.
-PM Modi said, after the new law, not a single market has been closed. Our government is spending more than Rs 500 crores on modernizing APMCs, their computerization. Then where did the talk about the closure of APMC come from?
-In his address, Prime Minister Modi said, there is a lie about the farming agreement. The farming agreement is not a new thing in the country. The farming agreement has been in operation in our country for years. In the farming agreement, only crops or products are compromised. The land remains with the farmer, the agreement and the land have nothing to do.
-PM Modi said, even after these things, if anyone has any apprehension, then we bow our heads, fold our hands, with much humility, in the interest of the farmers of the country, to address their concerns, talk on every issue Are ready to do.
