New Delhi : On Thursday evening, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and other elected MPs will be sworn-in to the government with a big ceremony.

The grand ceremony is expected to be attended by over 8,000 guests in the national capital, necessary security arrangements have also been made. Across the city, at different locations over 10,000 security personnel from Delhi Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed.

Before the swearing-in ceremony at 7 PM, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and other top leaders of BJP and NDA will be visiting Rajghat, Sadaiv Atal Samadhi and National War Memorial in the morning.

The ceremony is scheduled to be attended by, a number of heads of states, heads of governments, constitutional authorities, diplomats, senior political leaders, government officials and media persons. Chief ministers of several states have also been invited.

Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi will also be attending the oath-taking ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The CM of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has been taken aback from her promise of attending the ceremony, as reports of BJP inviting the families of the BJP workers who were killed in Bengal poll violence.

On Wednesday, Arun Jaitley, who was at the position of the finance ministry earlier, had said that, he would not be playing any role in the next government due to his ailing health. Whereas, according to reports, at a private meeting on Wednesday night, Modi and Amit Shah had given their final touches to the next NDA government.
