Just when candidates are coming up with groundbreaking ways to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, there is one nominee from Chennai who put up his nomination in a significant manner.

An independent candidate from Amma Makkal National Party (AMNP), Kuppalji Devadoss, on Monday came with currency coins in various utensils of shapes and sizes, with a total of Rs 25000, which is the required election security deposit. The total amount of the deposit was made up of coins Rs 10, Rs 5, Rs 2 and Rs 1 rupee denomination.

Contesting from South Chennai Lok Sabha seat, which is currently held by AIADMK's T Radhakrishnan, Devadoss arrived at South Chennai zonal office 13 with the vessels filled with coins that he submitted along with his nomination.
