A Historic Moment: Narayna Murthy touches great friend Ratan Tata's feet at TIEcon Event, Internet praises

It was an honour for a great friend Mr Narayana Murthy to be awarded by TIEcon, "Ratan Tata wrote on Instagram.

A photograph of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy touching the feet of Ratan Tata is doing the internet rounds. The Infosys Co-Founder touched the feet of Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata in the viral picture which emerged online to seek blessings at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Ratan Tata also shared Narayana Murthy's gesture in an Instagram story and said he was "truly humbled" by it. In his Instgaram's post he wrote, "It was an honour to be awarded by TIEcon at the hands of a great friend Mr. Narayana Murthy".

The heart warming photos were also shared on Twitter by event organizers TiE Mumbai with the caption, "Infosys co-founder, Narayana Murthy is seeking blessings from TATA sons, Chairman Emeritus, @RNTata2000 at # TiEconMumbai. Twitterati has flooded the social media with their reactions as the photos went viral. A user wrote, "What a respect another legend has bestowed on Shri Ratan Tata. The gesture has also touched our hearts.
