The Andhra Pradesh Government has been making all the arrangements for the foundation stone laying ceremony to be held on October 22. Recently, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu advised officials to take the opinion of the people on the 'Logo for the new capital'.
Following the CM's suggestion, the CRDA has been eliciting people's opinion for logo. A committee comprising 23 members has been formed to finalise the logo.
Anyone can design the logo and can send them to CRDA via www.crda.ap.gov.in. The last date for sending the logos is October 15. Once the committee selects the logo, it would be kept open for public opinion. After seeking public opinion and officials response, the committee will select the final logo. The government is planning to give away prize money of Rs 1,00,000, Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000 for the best three designers.
