Starting with 100 autos, the citizens can now have access to the autos on the mobile app. The most advantage point is that they can track the auto on their mobile and make online payments too.

Ola, which is available across 71 cities in the country and five cities in Andhra Pradesh, had entered the State capital on Thursday. The customers can now book the auto on the app under the auto category. The customers can track the ride and share the ride details with the friends and family members, said Ola’s vice-president Sundeep Sahni, in a statement here on Thursday. He further added that the customers can make online payments basing on the metered details of the ride as the firm provides system generated bill.

The Ola partner from the city, Durga Rao, the first auto man to have associated himself with the Ola said that his income had increased over the month due to the Ola’s intervention. He expressed confidence that the auto drivers from the city too would find their association with Ola beneficial. He further asserted that the customers too would find it convenient and comfortable as the travel can be tracked on mobile and the safety of the customers in the auto is assured.

He said that Ola provides autos at Rs. 9 per kilo meter with a minimum fare of Rs. 25. Night charges would be 1.25 times the normal fare, he added and maintained that the autos assure safety and security for the women passengers even at night as their family members sitting at home can also track the auto movement on their mobile.
