Telangana State’s Rishab Nayar dominated in the sub-junior category of the 1st Telangana State Open here on Wednesday. The 15-year-old Rishab, who was down with fever on Tuesday shot into the reckoning by clinching three wins from four races. It was a far better showing then the seventh position he had on Tuesday and a sixth finish in another race.
Konda Guruvaiah leads the fleet with 14 points and is showing promise with one win and some consistent performances across the first 7 races.
Ramya Sarvanan of Tamil Nadu is placed 3rd overall and 1st in the girls category. In the senior category, Vishnu Sarvanan, who dominated with four straight wins, crushed the opposition. Virender Singh and Lim John are tied at 14 points with Singh ahead with three second positions.
