Career prospects in 3D gaming highlighted
A two-day national level workshop on `Game Development Using Unity 3D’ began at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science in the city on Friday.
A two-day national level workshop on `Game Development Using Unity 3D’ began at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science in the city on Friday. The Department of Computer Science is organising the workshop in collaboration with Robokart.com of Chennai to impart practical training to students in 3D game designing.
Participating in the inaugural function, Prof M Suneetha, Head of Department of Information Technology, Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, said, “Creativity is the key to success in 3D game designing. Hence, students need to think differently and come up with novel ideas to have a bright career in 3D game designing.
They should focus on enhancing their computer knowledge and skills, besides developing leadership qualities, to be successful in career by grabbing the opportunities coming in their way,” she said. Siddhartha College principal M Ramesh, director V Babu Rao and HoD of Computer Science Kavuri Sridhar highlighted the career prospects in 3D game designing in the era of smartphones.
