On this occasion, Ramaraju Srinivasarao, Pingali Venkata Krishnarao, Tumuruli Rajesndra Prasad, Dhara Karunasri, VV Raghava Reddy, Chalapaka Prakash, Dr Srutakeerthi, Ravuri Vemlata Lpteswara Rao were presented awards for their service in the fields of promotion arts, literary, environment, service, cultural, journalism and photo journalism.

The GVR foundation president Venkata Reddy was also felicitated on the same dais.

P Vijayababu, commissioner, Information act has presided over the meeting and said that these activities will give energy to serve more to the society and he congratulated all the recipients of the awards. Nanapaneni Rajakumari, Chairperson, Andhra Pradesh Mahila commission said that women should come up to reach their goals.

R Niranjan, Metropolitan Sessions Judge, P Gowtham Reddy and others were on the dais.

On this event Shruti Arts Academy, Hyderabad presented a colorful dance ballet ‘Nari Vijayam’ written by P Vijayababu.

The main concept of the dance ballet was about the women protection. The writer tried to emphasize though the Nirbhaya act has been came into force, the women are still not protected fully.

The ballet also depicts three mythological incidents from Mahabharata, Ramayana and Mahishasura Samharam to establish the role of women right from the ancient days.

The artistes also presented some items in Venkateswara kalyanam. The choreography of Shrutakeerti was appreciable.

Along with the dance director Shrutakeerthi, the other characters were performed by Bhoomija, Bhargavi, Sameera, Lavanya, Divya Tejaswi, Bhargavi and Sandhya in this dance drama.
