The 52nd annual celebrations of Andhra Nataka Kalasamithi started on Tuesday at Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College.  On this occasion, an award in memory of Maganti Anjanadevi was presented to Dr Chadalavada Nageswara Rao and Dr Sudha.

The 52nd annual celebrations of Andhra Nataka Kalasamithi started on Tuesday at Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College. On this occasion, an award in memory of Maganti Anjanadevi was presented to Dr Chadalavada Nageswara Rao and Dr Sudha.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr Chadalavada Nageswara Rao said that fullest satisfaction will derive from selfless service. He advised the public to render noble service to poor needy persons. Dr Sudha expressed that these awards will give energy to serve more to the society. Dr Kamineni Pattabhiramaiah said that the couple has rendered excellent service to the society not only in their medical field but also in social and cultural.

President of the samithi Nannapaneni Nageswara Rao, Karnati Lakshminarasaiah, Palaparthy Syamalananda Prasad and others were also present on the dais. A dance ballet “Bhagavt Geeta” was also staged. This ballet was presented by the team of Bhagavatula Venkatrama Sarma. This ballet was contained the scenes commenced with the Rayabaram of Sri Krishna and concluded with the Geetopadesaym in Kurukshetra war.

The performance of the artistes was appreciated by the spectators. The expressions and dance of Sowmya, who acted as Sri Krishna was received applause. The other main roles were performed by Venkat, Vijayanand, John, Suresh, Samba. Kumara Suryanarayana supported this ballet with his metallic voice and instrumentally supported by M Vijayakumar on mridangam, Palaparthy Anjaneyulu on Violin and Ashok on keyboard.
