‘Daksha theatres’ a new cultural organisation was inaugurated in the capital city in Veledandla Hanumantharaya Grandhalayam Hall. On this occasion the founder president Jaya Sri said that he group of Daksha will produce innovative and modern plays in future.

She explained that there is need to have more play production units to encourage the young artistes since many youngsters would like to take part in the dramas.
Dr D Vijaya Bhaskar, Director, Department of Language and Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh inaugurated the organization. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Vijaya Bhaskar said that it was a welcoming sign of increasing the cultural organizations in the new capital city and Government is keen in promoting art forms like dance, drama and music equally. S Koteswara Rao, P Vijaya Bhaskara Sarma, G Balagangadhara Tilak, MS Chowdary, R Mohana Krishna and other s were participated in this function.
A play “Vinnapam” written by Narayanababu was staged by Young Theatre Organization, Vijayawada. The playlet was directed by R Vasu. The director has utilized the technical inputs maximum made the audience to sit throughout but the care was not taken in dialogue modulation and narration of the story. The writer tried to convince the audience that the criminal should be punished for the criminal attitude but not the criminal.
As the drama focused on negative approach, the message was not conveyed properly. After a long time Telugu theatre audience have experienced the fresh talent with all fresh faces on the stage, which should be appreciated. Munna, Vijaya Durga, Sai, Mani, Krishna, Bhaskar, Kiran, Madhurya, Bhargav, Sasi, Gireesh, Dileep, Sankar, Prasanna and Mallesh were acted in this playlet. Music was composed by Sitaram and troupe. haryulu to render a poem describing the present situation of the farmers the avadhani said “annamu pettuvadu paramannamu korutaledu jeevitam” .. like this he completed the Satavadhanam in a spirit of joy and knowledge.
