Volleyball team felicitated
The Rajahmundry Chamber of Commerce President, Dondapati Satyam Babu, on Sunday, hoped that the East Godavari volleyball team would create history by successive wins.
Rajamahendravaram: The Rajahmundry Chamber of Commerce President, Dondapati Satyam Babu, on Sunday, hoped that the East Godavari volleyball team would create history by successive wins.
He felicitated the volleyball players who won the AP state inter-district volleyball tournament, which was recently held in Chittoor district.
Speaking on the occasion, district volleyball association president Ravi Raju, treasurer Lanka George, national referee Ramana Murthy and volleyball State Finance Committee Chairman Parimi Vasu expressed their happiness over the team’s performance in the Chittoor district.
Vasu said that it was the happiest moment that under the guidance of Jessey all the volleyball players showed their talent. He further said that the floodlight volleyball court was named after his father. Speaking on the occasion, coach Jessey informed that man of the tournament award was given to the team player Immanuel Raju.
VT College Physical Director Kishore Babu, PET Association member AVD Prasad, Jeevan Dasu, Srikanth, Ramana Murthy and others participated.
