Mala Mahanadu demands cancellation of GO No 25
The Mala Mahanadu activists demanded that the state government cancel the GO No 25, which is indirectly classifying Dalits in the state. They staged a protest in front of the Collectorate on Monday and submitted a memorandum to the Collector.

The AP Mala Mahanadu convener, P Manikyarao said that the GO No 25, issued to identify the beneficiaries of various schemes by the government, was indirectly supporting the classification of SCs in the state. The statements of the government to develop SCs based on the population was nothing but cheating and the government was indirectly cooperating with the people who demanded the classification, he said.
The other speakers, Kaki Ravikumar, Balayya, Ajay, Rambabu and others also demanded that the government do not try to implement the classification which was already told as against the Constitution by the Supreme Court.
