Municipal contract workers demand job security

East Godavari district CITU secretary, MV Ramana inaugurated the camp. Criticising the government, he said, "After coming to power the TDP government had brought the GO NO 279 to ruin the lives of the contracts workers in municipalities. Due to this GO, the contract workers have no job security."
He informed that the Supreme Court had given a verdict that everyone should get equal wages for equal work but the state government has not been implementing it for the municipal workers. "Even now the government can come down and solve the problems of the workers," he added.
CITU leaders N Balaram, K Narendra, B Konda, P Lova Raju, Y Raju, D Ramesh, Y Ganesh, G Durga Raju and others participated.
