Awareness walk on brain stroke
Hundreds of people participated in the Brain-stroke Awareness Walk and 3K Run at Bhimavaram on Sunday.The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Bhimavaram Hospitals, Bhimavaram All Walkers Association jointly conducted the marathon walk and 3K Run.

Rajya Sabha Member and TDP District Committee president Thota Sita Ramalakshmi, Municipal Chairman Kotikalapudi Govinda Rao, Municipal Commissioner Naga Narasimha Rao flagged off the marathon walk and the 3K Run at Prakasham Chowk.
The Salkers Association members, people from various walks of life and athletes participated in the marathon walk and 3k Run. The marathon covered main streets of Bhimavaram town and culminated into a public meeting at Bhimavaram Hospitals.
Addressing a gathering, Bhimavaram Hospitals Chairman Dr G Gopalaraju, Managing Director KV Krishnamraju, IMA Bhimavaram unit president Dr Mahesh, secretary Dr Swarajya Lakshmi, neuro surgeon Srinivas, neuro-physician Ravi Kiran explained about the paralysis symptoms and reasons.
They also explained about the preventive measures and medical tests.Bhimavaram Walkers Association members Sriram, Bose Raju, Gopi, Rambabu, Mahesh and others participated in the programme.
