Post-metric scholarships sanction shows govt’s integrity
District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee member and TDP leader Dhulipudi Venkataramana aka Bobby said the state government issued orders to sanction post-metric scholarships for Kapu, Ontari, Telaga and Balija castes for the present academic year.
Kakinada: District Vigilance and Monitoring Committee member and TDP leader Dhulipudi Venkataramana aka Bobby said the state government issued orders to sanction post-metric scholarships for Kapu, Ontari, Telaga and Balija castes for the present academic year.
In a press release here on Sunday, Bobby expressed his joy over the decision of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to benefit the students. He further informed that all the students, who belong to Kapu and its allied communities, would get nearly Rs 450 per month until completion of the course.
He further stated that Telugu Desam had showed its integrity on their promises that were announced for the welfare of the Kapu community. Bobby also said that even though the state was in fiscal deficit their leader Chandrababu had fulfilled the promise of establishing a corporation for Kapu community in the state.
“It is proved many times that our government is a government of deeds and not of the government that babbles,” he added.
