Prakasam Engg students excel in JNTU-K exams
The students from Prakasam Engineering College in Kandukur excelled in the semester exams conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada, said college correspondent Kancharla Ramaiah in a statement.

He said that 375 students from six branches appeared for the recent third year first semester exams conducted by the JNTU-K. He said that 170 of them scored distinction in the exams with 70 plus per cent of marks while 43 of them got 80 to 90 percentage of marks. He told that two students from the students scored more than 90 per cent and qualified for the monetary awards from the college.
Ramaiah explained that the regular review of the teaching staff about each and every student in the class, along with the daily curriculum, helped the students score better in the university exams. The mid exams, subject wise assignments and regular reviews of the professors was the reason for getting a good pass percentage in the semester.
He announced that the college committee had decided to offer special monetary awards to all the professors in whose subjects more than 90 per cent of the students passed, along with the students who scored 90 per cent of marks.
