Vijayawada: The First Additional Magistrate Court in Tiruvuru of Krishna district got the distinction of the first court in Andhra Pradesh, which was inaugurated on a digital platform.

Justice V Ramasubramanian, judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday inaugurated the First Additional Magistrate Court digitally from a video linkage from Hyderabad. Justice Y Lakshmana Rao, Machilipatnam, participated in the videoconference during the inauguration of the court.

Jusice Lakshmana Rao said that Andhra Pradesh judiciary has adopted digital technology for inauguration of the courts in the state. Vijayawada Metropolitan Sessions Judge, AV Ravindrababu, judges and lawyers of Tiruvuru participated in the inauguration of the court. Jusice Lakshmana Rao said that this was the second court in India that used digital technology for its inauguration.
