5K Run for awareness on govt schemes
The officials and students of Veeravasaram mandal conducted 5K Run in the village on Sunday, to create awareness on the government welfare schemes among people. Mandal Tahsildar T Mukkanti flagged off the run at Veeravasaram centre. The run covered main streets from Veeravasaram to Sringavriksham village and returned to Veeravasaram.

Students, officials and police personnel participated in the run. Mandal Tahsildar Mukkanti, Mandal Development Officer P Jagadamba, Veeravasarm Sub-Inspector N Srinivasa Rao, TDP president Pollisetty Dasu and others led the run.
In Bhimavaram town, Municipal Chairman, Kotikalapudi Govinda Rao flagged off the run at Prakasham Chowk. Municipal Commissioner, Nagamalleswara Rao and others participated in the run along with the students and officials.
