Eluru/Bhimavaram: People in rural areas celebrated the Bhogi bonfire on the early hours of Sunday in various parts of West Godavari district.
The women and children decorated the front view of their houses with Rangavalli and lit the Bhogi bonfire.
The villagers of Pothunuru, Kovvali, Denduluru, Gopannapalem and Srirama Varam in Eluru and Veeravasaram and Vempa of Bhimavaram lit the bonfire in the village centres in the wee hours.
