4 badminton courts to come up in city
Several developmental works are underway in the Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation, informed RMC Commissioner, Vijayarama Raju. He informed that works relating to construction of four badminton courts were in progress at DBV layout.

“The proposed cost of these badminton courts is Rs 1.45 crore and PJR Projects Organisation is supervising the construction works for these courts,” said the Commissioner. Ramaraju expressed confidence that after completion of these four courts, students would get benefited by engaging in the sport.
He also said that the Nagala Cheruvu modernisation works were completed at a cost of Rs 35 lakh. He said that 11 mutton and chicken shops including a boundary wall also be constructed as part of the modernisation works. The Commissioner said that soon this market would be inaugurated for the public.
