Narsapuram: MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu, has said that the TDP government has taken steps for the development of Dalits in the State.
He participated in ‘Chandranna Mundadugu- Dalita Tejam’ programme at Saripalli Panchayat in Narsapuram Rural mandal on Thursday. He inaugurated roads and three culverts constructed in Dalit colonies at a cost of Rs 39.8 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was striving hard for the welfare of Dalits. He was only Chief Minister to implement the welfare schemes for the Dalits, he claimed. He said that the Government had taken up various programmes for the development of Dalit colonies in the state. He toured the Dalit colonies in the village and inquired people about their problems.
