Kakinada: The Telugu Desam Party is for the welfare of the poor people in the state, said Kakinada MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao.
He presented a cheque worth Rs 15 lakh to a person who was suffering from a liver-related disease for the past few years. MLA said that he explained the plight of the person Visvanadhapalli Stalin who has the liver disease and unable to lead his family. The MLA also said that he brought the victim’s issue to the notice of the Chief Minister and made efforts to sanction Rs 15 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
The MLA handed over the cheque and CM’s note to the Stalin here on Saturday evening. Chodipalli Srinivasa Rao, Aman Jain, Gadi Siva Rama Krishna, Surada Tataji and others participated.
